Alpha Lion Gains Candy Review: In this review, we will see if Alpha Lion Gains Candy is effective at promoting weight loss, appetite reduction, and a boost in your energy levels among other benefits.
Gains Candy is a term for five supplements from the American company Alpha Lion: Mitoburn, Caliburn, Glucovantage, RipFactor, and S7 Pump & Performance supplement.
While Mitoburn, Caliburn, and Glucovantage are designed to promote fat loss and appetite control, Alpha Lion Gains Candy RipFactor and S7 are more focused on increasing muscle growth and performance. In this review, we’ll be focusing on Gains Candy fat loss supplements.

You can take any of the “Gains Candy” supplements on their own, but you can also stack them together.
Alpha Lion Gains Candy weight loss supplements are reported to help you burn fat in the following ways:
- Amplifies the effects of exercise on fat burning
- Increases metabolic rate

- Increased mitochondrial efficiency
- Supports healthy blood glucose and insulin levels
But how will Gains Candy work for you?
Below, we’ll give you a lowdown of each Alpha Lion Gains Candy supplement, so simply continue reading to learn all the key facts!
What do we recommend?
- Transparent formula
- Simple to take
- Has no stimulants, which makes it safe for daily use
- Only 1 active ingredient in the formula
- Lack of clinical studies to prove its effects on weight loss
Limited-time offer for our Quin Candy readers:
Mitoburn is the first of the 3 supplements from the Alpha Lion Gains Candy series.
“Mitoburn” is said to be a stim-free fat loss amplifier. Since it doesn’t have any caffeine, you can take it at any time of the day.
Mitoburn is claimed to help:
- Body composition – burn fat rapidly, build more muscle
- Exercise efficiency – get faster results from your training
- Anti-aging – helps support mitochondria, energy factories in your cells
- Reduce appetite – snack less between meals
- Prevent fat gain – reduce blood sugar spikes and insulin resistance
Interesting! It’s not often that you’ll see a fat burner that can boost energy and the metabolism without using any caffeine.
So, what are the secret ingredients in Mitoburn that supposedly make it work so well?
As it turns out, there’s only one active ingredient in Mitoburn.
See for yourself:
The whole Alpha Lion Gains Candy Mitoburn formula revolves around L-BAIBA, along with a supporting ingredient black pepper extract.
Black pepper extract is a simple bioavailability enhancer, helping you to digest other ingredients more easily.
Okay… but what is L-BAIBA? This is also known as β-aminoisobutyric acid. A naturally occurring amino acid found in some plants and animals.
Typically, you won’t see this ingredient in most supplements, because it’s very unstable and doesn’t get absorbed by your body very well.
Mitoburn claims to be the first tried and tested form of L-BAIBA that actually works. The manufacturers claim that this ingredient will help you:
- Turn white fat (hard to get rid of, bad fat) into brown fat (more metabolically active, easy to burn off)
- Increase fat oxidation (breakdown) in the liver mitochondria.
- Boost ketone body generation, stimulating the body to use more fat for energy.
Sounds good! But what does the science say?
Well, not that much. Alpha Lion cite on their website several studies that look into L-BAIBA’s effects on weight loss.
Although these don’t look too promising, the research on L-BAIBA is still lacking and further evidence could prove it to be an ingredient worthy of adding into a fat burner. Until then, we don’t recommend it as one of the best options.
Also, L-BAIBA is the only ingredient in Alpha Lion Gains Candy Mitoburn. Even if it worked, it can’t do all the heavy lifting on its own.
Mitoburn would be a more effective formula it if used other proven ingredients, including a thermogenic like cayenne pepper extract, a clean energy booster like green tea extract, and a natural appetite suppressant Glucomannan.
Not to mention there’s no caffeine anhydrous in Mitoburn so you can’t expect it to raise your energy levels like a stimulant fat burner.
How to Take
Mitoburn dosage is either 1 capsule, twice per day or 2 capsules once per day.
Each capsule contains (250mg) of the active compound.
One bottle of Mitoburn contains 60 capsules, which means it will last you 30 days if you take the recommended dose.
Each bottle costs $37.99, which is rather expensive for a supplement with only 2 ingredients (one of which isn’t proven to work).
Any Side Effects to Worry About?
As we said, Mitoburn’s main active ingredient, L-BAIBA, still lacks clinical evidence to confirm its long-term safety or effectiveness.
Based on the current research, though, it appears to be a relatively harmless ingredient when taken short-term.
Caloriburn is a non-stim thermogenic formula, and the second of the three supplements in the Alpha Lion Gains Candy series.
It claims to help:
- Amplify caloric expenditure
- Increase metabolic efficiency
- Activate “good” brown fat tissue
- Boosts thermogenesis without stimulants
All claims sound impressive, right? But the last claim on this list really caught our attention.
The best thermogenic ingredients include caffeine and green tea extract. These are stimulants. Calorieburn is promised to help achieve the same effect without using these stimulants. Is this possible?
Well, the only ingredient that can have that effect is cayenne pepper. But Caloriburn doesn’t have that one either!
What is inside of it, then?
See for yourself:
The main active ingredient in Alpha Lion Gains Candy Caloriburn is Grains of Paradise, also known as Aframomum Melegueta. Along with 5mg of Black Pepper Extract for better absorption.
So, what is Grains of Paradise? It’s a spice similar to ginger in effects. Some preliminary evidence suggests it can aid digestion and fat ‘browning’. But the effects don’t seem very strong.
- Keep in mind that we’re talking about ‘preliminary’ studies here. Currently there’s no study analysis on the research that was done on Grains of Paradise. In other words, you should take its purported effects with a ‘grain of salt. No pun intented.
Even if we assume that Grain of Paradise really works for weight loss, we’re again talking about only one active ingredient.
Even the best fat burners on the market use multiple ingredients in order to have any kind of serious impact on weight loss. One natural ingredient alone simply doesn’t cut it.
How to Take
Alpha Lion Gains Candy CALORIBURN’s dosage is 1 capsule, once or twice per day. You can take it with or without food, however you prefer.
Each bottle costs $28 and lasts you 1-2 months depending on how many capsules you take.
Not too crazy expensive, but still not a great value for just one ingredient + some black pepper if you ask us!
Any Side Effects to Worry About?
Nothing to worry about in terms of side effects. Caloriburn only consists of black pepper extract and grains of paradise, both shown in studies to be safe when taken in normal doses.

Glucovantage from Alpha Lion Gains Candy series is designed to improve your insulin sensitivity. This should help you not just with weight loss, but also prevent weight gain from eating an occasional cheat meal.
When your insulin sensitivity is high, your body will utilize more of the food you eat for energy.
When your insulin sensitivity is low, you develop insulin resistance and your body starts storing everything and anything you eat – which is why some people gain weight easily no matter how much they restrict themselves.
Okay so… how can Glucovantage help? It claims to:
- Boost insulin efficiency – shuttle carbs into muscle not fat cells
- Enhance muscle strength – more calories ending up in muscles meaning you’ll feel leaner and stronger.
Here’s what’s inside Glucovantage that can apparently give you these benefits.
Again, there’s only one active ingredient in Alpha Lion Gains Candy Glucovantage: it’s Dihydroberberine. This is a form of berberine (no, it’s not bieberine!!), a compound extracted from certain Chinese plants.
What does this ingredient do?
Well, according to science, Birberine can reduce insulin resistance. This makes it a decent ingredient to prevent weight gain.
It’s actually a solid ingredient, which is why we’re sad to see other proven fat burners missing from Glucovantage. For example, if it had Glucomannan (Konjac Root Fiber), which is a proven appetite suppressant, Glucovantage would really have an impact on controling your daily calorie intake.

This way, it only helps slightly with preventing weight gain from carbs you eat. But don’t expect miracles from one ingredient alone!
How to Take
Glucovantage contains 60 capsules per bottle, and can be taken up to 3 times per day. Each bottle costs around $37.99.
There are three different ways to take Glucovantage, depending on your goals.
Here are the official instructions from the Alpha Lion website:
FOR WEIGHT LOSS:
“Take GlucoVantage® 30 minutes before your biggest carbohydrate-dense meals up to 3 times per day OR for cheat meal damage control aka eating burgers and pizza take 2 servings, 30 minutes prior to downing those burgers.”
FOR MUSCLE BUILDING:
“Take post workout before your post workout meal containing carbohydrates. This will result in increase nutrient delivery into the muscles when they need it the most. More nutrients delivered into the muscle cell = MORE GAINS!”
TO INCREASE PUMP DURING WORKOUT:
Take with your pre workout meal containing carbohydrates to increase glycogen levels in the muscle while working out, resulting in increased muscle pumps during your workout. “
Any Side Effects to Worry About?
Glucovantage needs to be taken under medical supervision if you have any kind of blood sugar issue. Make sure to speak with your doctor before taking it! It can mess with your insulin levels.
Glucovantage is available on Alphalion.com
Our Thoughts on Alpha Lion Gains Candy Formulas
All three of Alpha Lion Gains Candy products have one serious flaw: an incomplete formula.
They all contain just one active ingredient + Black pepper for enhanced absorption. And that’s it.
Worse still, Mitoburn and Caloriburn’s active ingredients aren’t even proven to aid weight loss. Until more evidence comes out, we can’t recommend these two supplements.
As for Glucovantage, it’s the only decent product in the Alpha Lion Gains Candy line. It contains Biberine which is actually studied for its anti-diabetic effects.
Again though, it’s just one ingredient.
If you’re serious about weight loss, you’ll need to look for a fat burner that has multiple proven ingredients that target weight loss from different angles – including appetite suppression, thermogenesis, and fat breakdown.

Alpha Lion Gains Candy Review Summary
So that concludes our Alpha Lion Gains Candy Review, including the review of Mitoburn, Caloriburn and Glucovantage.
Mitoburn is designed for fat burning and energy boost. Caloriburn is designed for increasing your metabolism. Glucovantage is formulated to help lower blood sugar and improve insulin sensitivity.
All three of Gains Candy formulas are free of stimulants. This isn’t ideal, you’ll want caffeine and other proven stimulants to help boost the metabolic efficiency to the max.
Not only that, Gains Candy formulas are incomplete. Each formula has just one active ingredient in it. That’s not enough to induce any kind of serious weight loss. Their serving schedules are also skewed, 1-2 daily servings won’t maintain the effects of these products throughout the entire day.
Looking at Alpha Lion Gains Candy reviews, including those on Reddit, testimonials look mixed. Even though the prices aren’t too high, Alpha Lion Gains Candy supplements lack many of the best fat burning ingredients on the market – which makes us hesitant to recommend them.
