GOLO vs Hydroxycut: Which is Better?

GOLO vs Hydroxycut

GOLO vs Hydroxycut: which one is going to be more effective at boosting your energy, focus, and fat loss? We analyze their formula and compare other key areas to find out which is the better option for you.

[GOLO vs Hydroxycut SUMMARY]

GOLO Release and Hydroxycut don’t make it among the most effective diet pills we’ve seen. While GOLO hides most of its ingredient doses in a proprietary blend – preventing us from seeing how effective the ingredients will be – Hydroxycut uses some unproven ingredients that act more like “cheap” fillers (plum and cardamon, we’re looking at you). Hydroxycut is also missing core ingredients that you’ll typically find in high-end fat burners – such as glucomannan, green tea extract, and cayenne pepper extract. With that said, between the two, Hydroxycut is the better weight loss supplement. Its formula is more effective at boosting your energy and metabolism. Plus, it costs less than GOLO.

GOLO Release vs Hydroxycut – The Overview

About GOLO

Also known as GOLO Release weight loss pills, they’re designed to help your body:

  • Support fat loss
  • Increase energy
  • Boost immunity
  • Reduce appetite
  • Balance insulin
  • Manage stress and anxiety

That’s quite a list of benefits! Can it really do what it claims, and how does it compare to Hydroxycut? We find out in detail below.

About Hydroxycut

Hydroxycut is a natural fat burner pill designed to help you lose weight. As a brand, Hydroxycut has been on the market for years and is one of the best-selling fat loss supplements in America. Its manufacturers claim Hydroxycut was designed to fit your lifestyle.

The formula contains the main weight loss ingredient C. canephora robusta, which is, according to Hydroxycut’s makers, shown in studies to be effective. The formula also contains a generous dose of caffeine to boost your energy levels and calorie burning.

The question is, how will Hydroxycut work for you, and is it better than GOLO? Let’s find out by checking the ingredients!

GOLO vs Hydroxycut – The Ingredients

GOLO

GOLO contains a few decent fat burning ingredients, including chromium, zinc, Rhodiola Rosea, and Berberine.

GOLO Release Ingredients

Chromium helps to balance your blood sugar levels, which translates to more stable energy throughout the day and fewer cravings for junk food. Zinc, meanwhile, supports your hormonal balance which is crucial for the metabolism and fat-burning processes. Berberine has a similar role to chromium, while Rhodiola Rosea supports the reduction of stress hormones like cortisol, which can indirectly help prevent weight gain.

Sadly, this is where the good things end for GOLO Release. Apart from these few good ingredients, it lacks many other core nutrients that would make it more effective at burning fat and promoting brown adipose tissue formation as opposed to white adipose tissue.

Even the ingredients that are good, such as Rhodiola Rosea, don’t have their doses shown on GOLO’s label. In other words, you can’t tell if they will work at all. The only ingredients which show their dosage on GOLO’s label are magnesium (underdosed), zinc, and chromium.

As a whole, then, GOLO Release is unlikely to give you substantial results. It’s far from the best fat burning formula we’ve seen.

Hydroxycut

Hydroxycut looks like a superior formula to GOLO Release, right off the bat.

For starters, we have a good selection of vitamins such as B6, B12, and D, all of which contribute to the metabolism of fats.

Hydroxycut Original Ingredients

Then there are ingredients like Coffee Robusta Extract and caffeine. The former helps to lower the absorption of fats in your gut, which reduces the likelihood of unwanted weight gain. Caffeine, on the other hand, is something most of us get benefits from on a daily basis. It’s going to boost your energy levels and focus, while also supporting efficient metabolism.

The addition of green tea extract, cayenne pepper extract, and glucomannan would make this a far more effective formula, but it’s still not too bad. At least, compared to GOLO’s Release.

Cost & Where to Buy?

A bottle of GOLO Release, which contains 90 servings, is going to cost you $59.95. It’s available on its official website and comes with a type of a 60-day money-back guarantee.

Hydroxycut Original offers somewhat better value at $27.99 per bottle (30 servings). You can even get it for $19.59 if you subscribe to every-3-weeks delivery. Hydroxycut is available on its official website, as well as GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, and the like.

Our Verdict

At the end of the day, neither Hydroxycut nor GOLO impressed us as weight loss pills. There are definitely more effective options on the market that you can find with a little research.

With that being said, Hydroxycut is the clear winner between the two as it has more effective ingredients while also costing less than its competitor.

    • Hi Shari,

You could theoretically take them, but there’s some risk involved. Their combination of low-quality ingredients in unknown amounts can increase the risk of negative interactions. Ideally you will want to invest into one high-quality fat burner supplement, but you may still decide to give these two a try if you’re otherwise healthy and have an approval from your physician.

      Hope that helps.
