  • Lose an average of “31 pounds in 90 days”
  • “Accelerate ketosis by supporting rapid ketone generation”
  • Activate thermogenesis
  • Boost energy levels

Can Thermofight X pills live up to the manufacturer’s claims? Does the science support the efficacy and safety of its ingredients?

First up, a short Thermofight X review summary from our team, followed by a more detailed analysis.

Thermofight X Review at a Glance

If you don’t want to read through our whole review, we’ve found It Works Thermofight X to not really work – at least not as good as the manufacturer says.

The marketing claims are misleading; promising all of these benefits but using ingredients that are unproven and ineffective for weight loss.

They also masked certain ingredient doses under proprietary blends. As a result, we aren’t able to see their amounts on the label.

Pros

  • Green tea is good for energy and focus
  • Chromium and cinnamon bark help balance blood sugar levels

Cons

  • Incomplete formula – missing core ingredients
  • Some underdosed ingredients
  • Contains two proprietary blends
  • Doesn’t have an appetite suppressant
  • The company It Works! has been criticized for its pyramid scheme model
  • Costs $67-$100 for a one-month supply

What do we recommend?

About It Works! – the Company Behind Thermofight X

Before moving on with our Thermofight X review, we thought we’d share some info about the company behind the product.

  • It Works! is a popular manufacturer in the fat burner market. They’re known for products like Slimming Gummies, which we’ve reviewed at QC. Their owners, Mark and Cindy, bought an entire island off of the fortune they’ve earned from selling Thermofight X alone.

Obviously, these guys knew how to do their marketing! Props to them for that.

However, if you look it up online, you’ll see a lot of criticism towards the It Works! company. Not just from customers who had poor results with Thermofight X, but also ex. company workers complaining about the MLM scheme and poor working conditions.

While this definitely taints the image of the company for us, we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because Thermofight X might just prove to be an excellent product after we review its ingredients!

If it can help you burn fat faster and have fewer cravings, then it’s a thumbs up from us!

Let’s have a look:

How Does Thermofight X Work?

Thermofight X is a product that works by triggering a so-called process of “thermogenesis” in your body. What does this mean?

  • This means, your body’s core temperature will rise, which will in turn increase your metabolic rate in order to cool itself down.

Thermofight X also promises to help you tap into your stored body fat and start ‘melting’ it away as energy.

There’s almost no mention of appetite suppression, though. Which is disappointing considering that a big part of weight loss is controlling cravings and caloric intake.

If we can’t stay on track with your diet, how can we expect to lose weight long-term?

So, how will Thermofight X it work for you? Let’s take a closer look.

Thermofight X Review: The Ingredients

Thermofight X contains the following ingredients:

  • Calcium (140mg)
  • Chromium (200mcg)
  • Proprietary Green Tea Blend (302.5mg)
  • Green Coffee Bean Extract (100mg)
  • Proprietary Thermogenic Blend (75mg)

We’ll give credit where credit is due – there are some excellent ingredients in this product.

From Chromium which can prevent insulin spikes to green coffee bean extract which helps slow down the absorption of carbohydrates from food.

But one concern about Thermofight X is that some of the ingredients are found in so-called proprietary blends.

The issue is, you can only see the combined dose of ingredients in the blend. But not their separate individual doses.

So that’s not looking too good! But what about the ingredients themselves?

1. Calcium

This is a filler ingredient. It doesn’t have any significant effects on weight loss. It might help your bone health but that’s about as good as it gets!

2. Chromium

Chromium is good for your blood sugar. Especially after a meal high in carbohydrates. Typically, following that kind of meal, we’ll feel groggy and lethargic due to the blood sugar spike and subsequent insulin spike.

Consuming enough trace minerals like chromium can slightly balance this out, so blood sugar doesn’t spike as high. [1] While it’s nothing spectacular, and doesn’t make you burn more fat, it can be beneficial for helping to prevent weight gain.

3. Proprietary Green Tea Blend

Here we come to the first proprietary blend in Thermofight X. As we said, it’s a mixture of ingredients that only shows as a single dose on the label. AKA, the combined dose of all the ingredients in it.

With this particular proprietary blend, that’s not that big of a deal as it’s all green tea basically. So you know you’re getting about 300mg of green tea extract here. This is a safe and well-tolerated dose of the ingredient, so that’s good. [2]

But below you’ll see us dissect another proprietary blend which is a completely different story.

4. Green Coffee Bean Extract

This ingredient helps with carb absorption. Specifically, it makes your body more efficient at processing carbs so you don’t store as much of them as fat, but instead burn them for energy. [3]

5. Proprietary Thermogenic Blend

Here’s the proprietary blend we’ve been talking about. It consists of 5 ingredients in unknown amounts, they include:

  • Cinnamon bark extract
  • Trikatu
  • Ginger Root and Long Pepper
  • Cayenne Pepper

The entire proprietary blend weighs only 75mg, so at least we can tell it’s not going to cause any major side effects. However, since the dose is so low, it won’t do much good either!

The ingredients themselves are ineffective for fat burning, expect for cayenne pepper which is one of our top rated thermogenic ingredients. [4] It needs to be dosed at 150mg or higher, though, which is double the amount of this entire proprietary blend.

Our Thoughts on the Ingredient Profile

It’s disappointing. We don’t like that they’ve hidden most of the formula behind the proprietary blend so you can’t see how much of each ingredient you’re taking.

It has a few good ingredients such as green tea, green coffee bean, and cayenne pepper, but the latter is underdosed. Its fat burning effects are likely diminished because of this.

Green tea will boost your focus and energy, and green coffee bean will help slightly reduce how many carbs you absorb. This will help prevent weight gain.

But since it’s missing many core ingredients, Thermofight X is not as effective at burning off existing body fat.

How to Take Thermofight X

Thermofight X dosage instructions are to take 1 capsule, two times per day with a glass of water.

This is better than what most fat burners offer – just 1 daily serving – but it’s still not enough to maintain the effects throughout the day.

You want to be taking 3-4 servings per day to keep the beneficial ingredients circulating in your system between the doses.

When you only take one or two servings per day, the effects will wear off and you won’t be in a continual fat burning mode.

Does Thermofight X Have Side Effects?

Thermofight X shouldn’t cause side effects for most people.

  • The ingredients themselves are well researched and known to be safe. Many of them, like cinnamon, are used in daily cooking.

The doses are also light, too light in some cases, so you shouldn’t worry if you’re a healthy person.

There aren’t any stimulants in this product either, which is good for people who want to avoid caffeine.

Thermofight X Before and After – Our Experience

So, what results can you expect from taking Thermofight X for a month or two? Well, our experience was lackluster!

Me (Quin), Gabriel, and Anja all trialed it for 6 weeks with no success. The only change we noticed was a boost in mental focus due to green tea extract and L-Theanine.

Other than that, our before and after weigh-ins looked the same, so there’s not much to say in that regard.

Thermofight X Testimonials

In terms of other people’s before and after pictures, most of it is sponsored by “It Works!” Thermofight X, so it’s hard to tell which ones are legit, and which ones are BS.

These all seem fake to us though. This product doesn’t use the type of ingredients that would result in anything close to what these before and after photos show.

Thermofight X Reviews – What do Customers Say?

Some people are wondering whether they are any Thermofight X reviews in Canada, UK and other countries outside of the USA.

The answer is, there are – however, you’ll need to keep your eye on what’s legit and what’s fake.

It can be hard to tell as many reviews are manipulated to make the product appear worse or better than it actually is.

This is why we don’t like to rely on other user’s testimonials in the first place. Instead, we prefer to base our opinion off the ingredients and the evidence behind them.

Thermofight X Review Summary

Here the conclusion of our Thermofight X review.

What can we say? It’s not quite what we expected it to be. Thermofight X has a lot to improve before it can compete with the best fat burners on the market.

The price is over the top, $67-$100 dollars depending on the discounts is not a good value considering its ineffective formula. Not to mention the use of proprietary blends which ruins the credibility of the company “It Works!”.

As a result, we recommend doing more research. Thermofight X is best left alone.
